I was very relieved to read this headline from today\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bwfinancialplanning.us4.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=119e09a2637977b0cdbfc1cd5&amp;id=97fe43b113&amp;e=9e7908574a\">Wall Street Journal.<\/a>\u00a0The future is moving towards digital currency. The question is which one will dominate the world economy. Or maybe there will be many dominant players. With other countries, namely China, experimenting with their own digital currency, the US dollar needs to stay relevant, and, hopefully, remain the leading world currency for trade.<\/p>\n<p class=\"\">When clients ask me my view on putting money into crypto, I tell them that I view it as speculating at this point. Meaning it\u2019s fine with money you are prepared to lose, but not with your retirement money.\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bwfinancialplanning.us4.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=119e09a2637977b0cdbfc1cd5&amp;id=924091ca9e&amp;e=9e7908574a\">See last week\u2019s reading list<\/a>\u00a0for a good article on investing versus speculating.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/bwfinancialplanning.us4.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=119e09a2637977b0cdbfc1cd5&amp;id=e9d81b1ec8&amp;e=9e7908574a\"><strong>How to Get Comfortable with Managing Your Money<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p class=\"\">I used to just troll\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bwfinancialplanning.us4.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=119e09a2637977b0cdbfc1cd5&amp;id=67ed47385d&amp;e=9e7908574a\">goop<\/a>\u00a0(Gwyneth Paltrow\u2019s \u201cmodern lifestyle brand\u201d website ?) to window shop the perfectly curated life of soft earthy pastels, well dressed women, and exotic travel. But Gwenie (we\u2019re BFFs\u2026) also shares a lot of content on on physical, emotional, and\u00a0<strong><em>financial wellness<\/em><\/strong>. In this article,\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">goop<\/span>\u00a0interviews Lauren Simmons (a bad ass!) who says\u00a0<em>\u201cBeing in control of your money is being in control of your foundation. Being in control of your foundation is being in control of your future. Even if you\u2019re married, you shouldn\u2019t have to rely solely on your partner to make fiscal decisions.\u201d\u00a0<\/em>Amen.<\/p>\n<h3><a href=\"https:\/\/bwfinancialplanning.us4.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=119e09a2637977b0cdbfc1cd5&amp;id=d3161cf048&amp;e=9e7908574a\"><strong>How to Stop Worrying<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<p class=\"\">As a mom with a business and kids at home during the summer with no schedule, I find that my anxiety is through the roof. In another article from\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/bwfinancialplanning.us4.list-manage.com\/track\/click?u=119e09a2637977b0cdbfc1cd5&amp;id=c27ff55d79&amp;e=9e7908574a\">goop<\/a>\u00a0, the writer shares tips on how to calm an anxious mind. The first tip is to \u201cName Your Anxiety\u201d. I don\u2019t think her intent was to give Anxiety an actual name, but, of course, I am racking my brain for a good name for my nemesis. The name has to personify someone who is annoying, unhelpful, and unwelcomed. Right now, I\u2019m going with Greta as the name for my anxiety. I don\u2019t love it so am open to suggestions. Not at the same time, but maybe I should try it\u2026 It made me smile to see this article when researching another topic. I was honestly shocked at the state with the highest wine tax!
