Seeing images of my friends taking their children to college on social media the past couple of weeks has tugged at my heart strings. These are children who I watched learn how to bike, then to drive. How did I become this old?? The author writes about dropping off his first twin son at college and the awareness of what money can and can\u2019t do in our lives.<\/p>\n

The Secret to Happiness at Work<\/strong><\/a><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/figure>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cEarned success” is one of the factors in being happy at work. Makes sense, right? I love the term \u201cearned success\u201d. If success comes too easy, you don\u2019t appreciate it. The article reminded me of the book\u00a0Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance<\/a>\u00a0which talks about how the struggle of pursuing a goal can grow into love, resilience, and pride. I keep waiting for my struggle with keeping plants alive to turn into love and pride\u2026 not there yet\u2026<\/p>\n
